WEIGHT LOSS * + TO BOOST DIGESTION

If you are a reader of this blog, I make no secret of the fact that I dislike cooking and cleaning. This is a huge reason why we “cook” a lot of simple, mess free salads in the Sulovsky home.
Beetroot might not be what springs to mind when you are feeding kids with white shirts, but after a hard day at work, a healthy beetroot salad does the trick, and with a glass of red wine I am in heaven.
Beetroot is such healthy vegetable, packed with phytonutrients and excellent for detoxification. Try to use fresh (prevailed or roasted) or vacuum packed beetroot rather than the canned variety which often contains a fair amount of sugar and additives.
The beetroot salad should take no more than 10 minutes to make.
Try and enjoy the process and not rush it
Beetroot - 2 bulbs per person
Pumpkin + sesame seeds for sprinkling on the top
1 part Apple cider Vinegar
1part fresh lemon juice
1 part oil extra virgin olive oil, ideally cold pressed
Herbamare salt to taste
Mix beetroot and feta in a bowl with a little of the lemon juice and a sprinkle of herbamare salt. In a cup or jug mix the dressing ingredients and then mix with beetroot salad to taste.
Sprinkle sesame seeds + pumpkin seeds on top and serve.
