For years, fish oil was a staple in my routine. Growing up, my mum insisted on giving me liquid fish oil (yes, the taste was interesting), believing it would help stave off arthritis and support my brain health. At the time, I thought it was just one of those "mum things." But as I got older and immersed myself in the science of performance and vitality, I realised just how right she was.
Recently, I decided to stop taking fish oil supplements for a month to see what difference it really made.
