Amazing considering how cold and dark it can be.
But weather is is the famous HYGGE culture here or the beer it has to be said the Danes are incredibly and contagiously happy.
The Danes one way or another inherit this mindset from generation to generation and we can only learn from it.
One of the biggest factors that contributes to happiness is progression and growthβ¦.
When we stop growing we stay in 1 spot. And nobody likes staying still β¦. Especially your mind and bodyβ¦
You were born to growβ¦.
So when you stay stuck you feel challengedβ¦. bored, useless, stale, unintelligent, stuck, bored, bored, bored.
This year I encourage you look at your life and find an area that could use some improvement (there is always room for improvement.
It could be big or smallβ¦.
The focus is not the size of the goalβ¦. But the fact you achieve it.
By making progress in just 1 area of your life (big or small) you will be amazed by the monumental effect it can have on the rest of your lifeβ¦..
And when you tick off one goal, you will find it impossible not to smash all your other goals #flow
Remember energy creates energy.
What can you achieve in 2024 to go forward (and be happier) that you get to be you!!
It doesnt have to be a big goal... it is often the smallest of goals that can make the biggest impact
Brainstorm some areas that you feel you could improve from me time to self care to career to health.
Some ideas could be....
Get up earlier - to get more done + prime your day for success (happy to give you my routine)
Drink 2 litres of water - hydrate your brain + work quicker
Quit drinking - detox your liver and mind
Stretch - to activate your lymphatic system and detoxify your body (and reduce sickness)
Breath through your nose
Stop looking at your phone as soon as you wake up - and consequently reduce stress and overwhelm
Walk 10,000 steps each day - to boost your energy and feel good
Get more sunlight - and increase serotonin and melatonin for sleep
Declutter your hard drive or desk top - to free up space to work faster (note this works for your head too)
Book a bimonthly date night with your partner (you know I who I am talking to)
Attend more social events - to strengthen friendships and connection
Join a gym or sports club - to release endorphins and build your confidence and mental resilience
Download an app to start learning a new language - and increase your knowledge and belief in yourself
It all starts with intention...
What could you change in 2024 to take your life to the next level?
